Besides arise from the commissioned work: here the lantern painting as part of the Basel Fasnacht (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Information about the technique

Works in “Besides” are based entirely on the technique used on the lantern: Identical primer, identical colors, identical painting utensils. The discipline is based on transparency and requires vivid colors such as aniline and inks, in appropriate dilutions or emulsified in special solutions. Most “Besides” are in the format 70 / 100cm.
